Real? *
Documentary producer Mary Olive Smith of Engel Brothers Media in NYC
will present a program of clips and commentary on the art and commerce of
Documentary production today.
Ms. Smith has been at
Engel Brothers Media since February 1996 and is currently producing and
directing a documentary feature “A Walk
to Beautiful.” In 2004 she produced
“Quest for Columbus: In Search of the
Santa Maria,” which aired
as a part of Discovery’s blue chip Quest series.
She was the series producer through three seasons of National Geographic
Channels’ the Mummy Road Show, and produced
nine episodes. Other projects include “Extreme Science: Snakes”
and “Well and Aware: Fighting Breast Cancer Today and Tomorrow.” Mary Olive joined Engel Brothers Media after
an established career in public radio.
