White paper plate
Paint, markers, crayons, or colored pencils in the color of the rainbow
Ribbon (preferably green)
Green Construction Paper
Glue or Tape
Say Goodbye to Winter with a Jan Brett Craft
We will wave goodbye to our winter mittens soon, but before we do, enjoy reading The Mitten by Jan Brett. Then pick up a craft kit from our lobby to make your own mitten and re-tell the story with your animals and mitten!
Craft Kits are available in our lobby beginning February 25th.

NATE’S GROOVE SHOP: Learn How to Play the Drums
Lesson 2. Nate is a WHS Junior and Jazz percussionist here to teach you the basics of percussion. Find Nate’s introduction and lesson 1 in our Archives.
To learn along with Nate, you’ll need:
*“5A” or “5B” drum sticks
*A drum pad (Nate recommends the Evans Real Feel 2-Sided practice pad)
*A place to put your drum pad where it will be at waist-height
You can find drum sticks and drum pads online or at your local music store. Have fun!
