100th Birthday Celebration of Children’s Book Week with Author/Vocalist Michelle Oram

May 5 @ 3:00 pm - 3:45 pm

| Free

Michelle Oram has been teaching theatre and voice for over 35 years and believes in the healing powers of nature and the voice to make us whole.  Her book “Songs of the Woods” is set in the forest and the characters are woodland animals who help a little sparrow find her voice. This book is guaranteed to have all starting and ending each day with a song- like the many beautiful birds that surround us. She also has an album of songs she wrote for the book-complete with lullabies to help children and babies calm down before bed.  An interactive Storytime with puppets and song.  Ages 3-8.  Books and CD’s available for purchase.

The Fanwood Memorial Library fosters the joy of reading, the spirit of exploration, and the opportunity for personal transformation for all ages and cultures in its role as a community hub, a gateway to electronic information, and a refuge in emergencies. We offer the space, materials, and services that residents of all ages and abilities require to grow and connect to each other and the world. The library has been serving the community since 1903, and now continues its track-record of excellent library services into the 21st century.
