The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged

April 7 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Saturday Night Live” meets Shakespeare as all the plays and some Shakespeare extras as hilariously explored in sketch comedy routines. Can three gals really cover all Shakespeare’s plays in less than two hours? This fast-firing comedy does just that as it parodies all of the Shakespeare plays (plus the sonnets!) with only energy as the characters run across the stage and keep you guessing how they will pull off the next play. Clever use of some interesting costumes also adds to the fun. With an eccentric version of Romeo and Juliet, followed by a parody of Titus Andronicus (as a cooking show) to the all the history plays shown as football game to not-so-deep exploration of Hamlet both forwards and backwards, the craziness never stops!
Perforemd by the Hudson Shakespeare Company and presented by the Friends of the Fanwood Memorial Library.

The Fanwood Memorial Library fosters the joy of reading, the spirit of exploration, and the opportunity for personal transformation for all ages and cultures in its role as a community hub, a gateway to electronic information, and a refuge in emergencies.
