LET’S MAKE PIZZA!

Calling all Junior Chefs and Pizzaiolo (pizza maker) Wannabees, ages 8-12.

The Friends of the Fanwood Library as part of their Friends Connect program is offering 8-12 year old Fanwood residents an opportunity to make pizza with Chef Ronnie Vojko, assisted by Chef Domingo from Fabio’s Bistro. Participants will learn about Pizza dough, and then create their own personal pizza. Kids can ask Fabio’s to bake it on site or take it home to bake. The date is March 4th, from 9-10 am.

is the participant’s entry ticket. Fabio’s bistro, under current management since 2017, has supported many causes in Fanwood and has been a business partner with the Friends for several years. They offer 10% off any purchase. In June 2022, Fabio’s was awarded the Boy Scout’s Good Scout Award, which recognizes citizens for their positive contributions and service to their community.
Friends Connect is a recent initiative by the Friends of the Fanwood Library to help fulfill the library’s mission of providing services and experiences that help residents of all ages grow and connect to each other and the world. This initiative also supports the library’s vision of exploration and providing opportunities for personal transformation and growth. Finally, through this initiative the Friends supports the concept of the library as a community hub where individuals can connect with community resources including people, businesses, organizations and other institutions.
