Summer Reading Challenges 2022

Summer Reading begins on June 1st!

Our Wee Readers Program is designed for little ones, from birth to preschool. Our program begins on Wednesday, June 1st and will run until Friday, August 26th. Little ones earn a prize each time they complete 5 spots on the game board by: you and your child reading for 15 minutes, attending a library program, or completing one listed activity. If you complete the entire board game by 8/26, your little one will earn a free book.

Families can stop by the Fanwood Memorial Library or the Scotch Plains Public Library to sign up and redeem their prizes. All prizes are while supplies last and may vary per library location. Children can earn a maximum of 6 prizes in total.

Our Summer Reading Challenge for Elementary students is for students entering Kindergarten through the Fifth Grade with a Scotch Plains or Fanwood Library Card.
